Junior is back.....

Junior is back in Seattle, or will be this spring, barring injury.

Art Thiel weighed in on the harmonic convergence between the wavering of his signing and the public pronouncements of A-Rod.

Before Junior came up to the Big Leagues in 1989, the M's were a dismal team, always on the verge of leaving town. It's not an overstatement to say that he was a big reason for the team still being here, for Safeco Field getting built. His amazing catches, along with the sweetest swing in the game, finally gave us a good reason to watch games at the wretched old Kingdome. It's nostalgia certainly, but that is part of baseball too.
